Responsibilities

  • Owns a weekly, monthly and quarterly lead generation target
  • Defines quarterly marketing plan including all channels such as: lead generation, web merchandising on SolarWinds properties, online advertising and content placement on industry relevant sites, email marketing, social media and more; collaborates with channel expert leads to agree on plans and resourcing for execution
  • Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with company objectives
  • Defines content roadmap to support campaigns; collaborates with product marketing for content creation, editing and copywriting for a variety of channels
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement of inbound and outbound campaigns to increase demand and conversion of qualified opportunities
  • Nurture multi-touch marketing programs and campaigns and, with knowledge of various market stages, proficiently guide the team regarding approach
  • Manage team of Marketing Specialists , oversee campaign execution, advise on strategy and ensure that campaign targets are being met

Qualifications

  • 5+ years marketing experience including demand generation, inbound and outbound marketing with demonstrated revenue growth, preferably in a B2B environment
  • 2-3 years of people management
  • Experience with managing prospect engagement activities using multiple online and social channels: email, webinar, communities, SEO/SEM, company and third party websites, and so forth
  • Understanding of inbound marketing and email practices; prefer hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, or Silverpop and the development of nurturing programs
  • Demonstrated track record of keeping ahead of current demand generation trends
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative technology environment
  • Collaborative team-player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills who can influence across multiple organizations
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and proactive
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical acumen and a keen ability to prioritize workload based on business impact
  • BS/BA degree required, MBA preferred
