We are seeking  a developer with project management experience to run the complete project lifecycle starting from an idea through planning, implementing and measuring efficacy for multiple website specific projects of various sizes. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring the website is up and running and will write requirements for website specific projects as well as troubleshoot and code on the website when necessary.  Candidate must have expert level CSS, Javascript, site architecture, analytic and problem solving skills since this role will be responsible for site uptime as well as analyzing data from multiple sources to identify bottlenecks and/or workflow issues. As a member of our Support and Customer Success Operations team you will be responsible to provide proactive and efficient solutions for Customer Success and Support which will allow us to move at greater velocity as our business grows.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Support , Operations  and SolarWinds web properties owners to implement and support web strategy for our Success Center site
  • Manage estimation and scoping of web projects
  • Responsible for the availability and maintenance of our Success Center site.  This will require on-call time and planned upgrade assistance and support
  • Development of scripts and code for the site using  .net, HTML, HTML5, CSS, LESS, Javascript and SQL
  • Responsible for troubleshooting site issues and post assessment of site outages.
  • Creation and execution of development and UAT test plans including  verification of pixel perfect design and functionality
  • Project work will be done in an agile manner

Qualifications

What is required to succeed in this position:

  • Expert level Experience of HTML (esp. cross-browser compatibility and degradation strategies), CSS and JS in order to help identify potential trouble in requirements and troubleshoot with developers when functionality is not complete
  • Expert in troubleshooting and problem solving. This position is responsible for working with a vendor for all site issues and outages.
  • Expert level experience with CMS environments, site redesigns and migrations
  • Expert level experience estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating project activities
  • Expert level experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive project plans
  • Expert level experience identifying, recording and documenting thoroughly for bug tracking
  • Expert level experience working with Stakeholders and development to conduct requirements reviews to ensure that requirements are sound in the initial project stages
  • Expert experience implementing testing strategy for web project teams
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics and Web Console
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and strategy
  • Strong understanding of site performance testing
  • Strong experience working in software quality assurance

  • Experience testing for responsive sites
  • Experience working with Support, Marketing and Sales professionals
