    We are looking for a technical leader. As the Systems Manager, you will provide exceptional leadership & management for a global staff of Systems Engineers supporting our business in a follow-the-sun model. A great people manager with the ability to build, motivate and mentor a group of focused engineers that has the passion and ability to lead positive change in a fast growing environment. You must be comfortable with operating at a global scale and working across teams in a highly agile environment. On premise or in the cloud, your value is in the solutions you provide. You’re an engineer, innovator, mentor, and above all focused on facilitating the success of SolarWinds through the service and technologies we provide.


    • Establishes effective communication with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify “best of breed” cloud and on-prem technologies.
    • Researches, evaluates, and recommends new technologies to ensure the optimal stakeholder satisfaction, stability, flexibility, and security.
    • Have experience managing and working across organizational boundaries, bringing together people with diverse perspectives and experience to find solutions.
    • Provides expertise for IT systems to identify shortfalls and recommend enhancements to existing architecture in line with best practices.

    • 7 + years of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory skills
    • 7+ years of MS Server support experience in a production environment
    • 5+ years of MS Exchange Administration
    • 5+ years of Virtualization exp (VMware or MS Hyper - V)

    Nice to Have

    • MCSA 2012 or 2016 Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
    • Degree in MIS/IT related field
    • MCITP in advanced areas (e.g. MS SQL or Exchange)
    • PowerShell scripting knowledge
    • Linux Admin experience
