Overview

SolarWinds is currently hiring a Video Operations Coordinator to complement our video production team. This position provides operational support of video marketing content and media promoting SolarWinds products and brand. The candidate will work in collaboration with global product and marketing stakeholders under the guidance of the Director of Video Production and Video Production Manager. An ideal candidate for this position has a marketing, video or administrative background with an interest in video.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively shepherd and manage team projects, video requests and tasks to ensure timely delivery with status updates.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan, execute, and produce video content.
  • Schedule and coordinate production meetings.
  • Provide operational support for all videos from initial request to final distribution.
  • Track and maintain all production schedules and calendars.
  • Manage all video script and archive pages, email communications, and scheduling of video projects.
  • Prioritize video requests and production based on deadline and schedule while assuring all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain workflow and ensure on-time execution and completion of production and work tasks using Asana.
  • Maintain and manage video archive and distribution, ensuring accuracy to all media channels.
  • Facilitate team communication guaranteeing timely dissemination of information and content.
  • Compile, distribute and maintain video analytics as needed (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc).
  • Attend marketing and production meetings providing detailed notes and action items.
  • Build and manage process improvements to increase project management, tracking, reporting and distribution efficiency.
  • Work closely with team and business partners on product and campaign requests.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and handle purchasing.
  • Provide additional production assistance including scheduling, talent wrangling, props and makeup.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication Arts, Video or related field.
  • 2-3 years of administrative, operations or project management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, demanding environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong work ethic who can show judgment and self-initiative in identifying and accomplishing project tasks.
  • Shows exceptional attention to detail, initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment, with multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), multi-tasking, and scheduling skills.
  • Exhibits strong time management and organizational discipline.
  • Project management skills, preferably in an operational environment.
  • Knowledge of Vidyard, Wufoo, YouTube, Confluence and Asana preferred but not required.
  • Enthusiasm and inclination for technology and video a plus.
