  • Overview

    As an HR Business Partner at SolarWinds, you are the front line to our employees and leaders which requires quickly becoming a trusted advisor to our North American employees in Lehi and Boulder. You will provide hands-on expertise across a broad spectrum of human resource subject matter areas including talent management and retention, employee relations, career development, conflict resolution and workforce planning.


    • Diagnose and enhance organizational effectiveness with a focus on tangible business outcomes and employee engagement.
    • Identify, define and implement solutions that address the needs of the business while considering the broader implications of HR and Company strategy, and impact on other functions.
    • Partner with the COEs within the HR organization as well as business leaders to develop, implement and communicate programs aligned to HR functional goals in benefits & rewards, performance management, engagement, retention & mobility to build a great place to work.
    • Ensure there is excellent alignment with established human resources policies & procedures in execution of business unit and site HR initiatives.
    • Advise and coach managers and employees, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
    • Identify talent gaps and succession issues before they affect the business.
    • Be a talent scout for internal talent for key positions and help develop the next generation of leaders through talent management and career development.
    • Ensure compliance with company legal and HR practices within area of responsibility and with legislative and regulatory requirements, standards and other relevant policies and guidelines.
    • Liaise with legal and HR Operations as appropriate.
    • Provide recommendations and implement solutions to motivate, develop and retain employees.
    • Effectively utilize data to provide relevant, accurate information for both internal clients and HR.
    • Facilitate discussions on engagement survey results and support implementation of resulting initiatives.
    • Lead &/or participate in projects.


    • Bachelors' or MS Degree in human resources, general business or equivalent experience.
    • Strong business acumen and broad HR experience with a proven track record as a business partner, and in collaborating with HR colleagues, functional specialists and internal clients.
    • Self-starter with the ability to adapt interpersonal style and influence effectively at all levels in the organization. Demonstrate tact and diplomacy.

    • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.

    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility and act with complete integrity.
