    Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage State, Local & Education accounts within assigned territory
    • Manage existing customers and identify net new prospective customers
    • Provide accurate weekly forecasts to management
    • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota
    • Conduct product demonstrationsvia the internet
    • Identity cross sell and up-sell opportunities while build and maintaining customer rapport
    • Leverage the channels for force multiplier and adoption on SLED contracts
    • Ability to analyze data and formulate account strategy, execute to plan
    • Ability to leverage technical resources effectively
    • Effectively communicate numbers\account status\resources required to management

    Qualifications

    • Technical acumen with the ability to relate it with business value
    • Proven track record of sales performance and knowledge of SLED market
    • Comfort with both a transactional and enterprise sales model
    • Experience and credibility selling to end user and management levels
    • 3+ years sales experience with reseller or OEM
    • High intellect and the capacity to multi task
    • Excellent qualifying and closing skills
    • Strong prospecting skills

    Preferences:

    • Must work in the DC metro area, be willing to work out of the Solarwinds offices in Herndon, VA
    • Bachelor's Degree or Higher
    • Proficiency with SalesForce.com, MS Excel and Word
