    SolarWinds MSP is seeking an experienced and security minded Customer Success Engineer who will act as a trusted advisor to the customer. The Customer Success Engineer will be focused on the on-boarding phase of the customer journey and post-sales technical support activities. The successful candidate will have the ability to make an impact on the overall customer success and how they view and use our solution and enable confidence in our platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Technical Onboarding of new customers, ensuring they are successful in their use of our SIEM platform, and laying the foundation for a strong relationship going forward.
    • Work side-by-side with customers and provide technical expertise and to creatively solve issues that could arise during or post deployment. This could range from product misconfiguration to troubleshooting LAN/WAN environments
    • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction, trust and product adoption by making sound recommendations and listening to customer needs.
    • Support our 24/7 technical coverage model by participating in a rotating after-hours schedule. .
    • Continue to develop in-depth knowledge of security tools and industry best practices to maintain strong relationships with customers

    Qualifications

    • Must possess hands on knowledge and experience with Linux CLI and OS, SSH, and cron jobs.
    • Must have a background in logical network troubleshooting of complex LAN/WAN environments.
    • Experience in troubleshooting protocols such as TCP, UDP, LDAP, SSH are a must.
    • Certifications in network or security related fields will be considered an asset

    Preferences

     

    Looking to grow into a Sales Engineer role in the future.  Someone with a strong technical support background, network troubleshooting and a passion for security. Extrovert with good presentation and public speaking skills.
