  • Overview

    SolarWinds is seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator with a background in CPQ/Quote to Cash and Lightning to join our Business Applications team that will foster a strong collaborative partnership between the Salesforce team and key internal stakeholders.  While primarily focused on the adoption and ongoing maintenance of CPQ/Quote to Cash, the Administrator will also provide agile support to our global sales teams through ad hoc project requests, user maintenance, standard reporting and dashboards. Problem-solving and resourcefulness are key qualities, as aspects of support will involve troubleshooting and resolving errors quickly with respect to ensuring continuity in critical corporate processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the remaining Salesforce CPQ implementation roadmap through to deployment, user adoption, and ongoing improvements
    • Manage the relationship with key business stakeholders to help continuously help define and meet business priorities
    • Actively participate in change management (communications, online help, UAT, training, etc.) to support program rollouts in partnership with Sales Operations and other business operation teams
    • Elicit continuous system and process improvement requirements using cross-departmental workshops, use cases, process documentation, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis
    • Support sales performance reporting, partnering closely with various sales teams to understand their critical priorities and data needs
    • Work on various ad hoc Salesforce administration projects with primary emphasis on continuity of sales and marketing operations
    • Work with key stakeholders to develop and refine KPIs to adapt with changing business needs
    • Propose new projects and ideas to further facilitate potential growth through more scalable solutions
    • Standard Salesforce administration duties (user maintenance, new fields, workflows, reporting and dashboard generation, etc.)

    Qualifications

    •  3+ years Salesforce administration experience, including Sales and Service Cloud, CPQ (formerly Steelbrick) and Lightning
    • Strong understanding of CPQ functionality, best practices and constraints
    • Thorough knowledge of Salesforce Lightning platform
    • Passion for leading and driving to results, with ability to analyze systems and processes for inefficiencies leading to clearly communicated recommendations for solutions or improvements using either new or existing technology
    • Ability to manage change in an agile environment with global stakeholders
    • Excellent skills in self-audit – careful documentation of process, testing changes thoroughly, and ability to interpret results to verify accuracy or identify anomalies
    • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Tableau are pluses
