    As a Senior HR Business Partner with SolarWinds you are the front line to our employees and leaders.  We need someone who can quickly become a trusted advisor within Sales, Renewals and Marketing and who has experience with M&A.  You will provide both hands-on and strategic expertise across a broad spectrum of human resource subject matter areas including talent management and retention, employee relations, career development, conflict resolution and workforce planning.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive the HR Agenda.  Plan and implement solutions aligned to both business and HR strategy and goals
    • Develop people strategies and design approaches to diagnose and enhance organizational effectiveness with a focus on tangible business outcomes and employee engagement.
    • Identify, define and implement solutions that address the needs of the business while taking into account the broader implications of HR and Company strategies, and impact on other functions.
    • Build a great place to work by partnering with HR functional specialists and business partner colleagues to develop, implement and communicate programs aligned with functional goals for benefits & rewards, performance management, engagement, retention & mobility
    • Ensure there is excellent alignment with established human resources policies & procedures in execution of business unit and site HR initiatives.
    • Advise and coach managers and employees, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
    • Identify talent gaps and succession issues before they affect the business. Serve as an internal talent scout for key positions and help develop the next generation of leaders through talent management and career development.
    • Ensure compliance with company legal and HR practices within area of responsibility and with legislative and regulatory requirements, standards and other relevant policies and guidelines. Liaise with legal and HR Operations as appropriate.
    • Provide recommendations and implement solutions to motivate, develop and retain employees.
    • Effectively utilize data to provide relevant, accurate information for both internal clients and HR.
    • Facilitate discussion on engagement survey results and support implementation of resulting initiatives.
    • Lead &/or participate in projects. 

    M&A

     

    • Serve as project manager for M&A including due diligence, integration, separation and execution planning.
    • Partner with Business Development, Legal and HR to develop and execute HR M&A plans.
    • Manage critical HR work stream activity for mergers and acquisitions. 
    • Synthesize HR due diligence reports and recommendations. Quantify major areas of HR risk and opportunities, e.g. labor expenses, severance, benefits, employee relation issues and culture.
    • Develop detailed implementation execution plan and track progress against the HR Plans.
    • Identify, track, and monitor risks and issues with developing solutions for HR deliverables in change management, workforce administration, HR policies, Works Council/Unions, HR processes, and communication.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelors' or MS Degree in human resources, general business or equivalent experience.
    • Strong business acumen and broad HR experience with a proven track record as a business partner, and in collaborating with HR colleagues, functional specialists and internal clients
    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to adapt interpersonal style and influence effectively at all levels in the organization. Demonstrate tact and diplomacy.
