  • Overview

    Looking for an experienced and high-energy Sales Director. The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales.   Primary duties include: generating and submitting forecasts and weekly related sales results documents, collaborating with the Lehi and Executive leadership team to set revenue goals and weekly strategy as well as creating and implementing  sales plans.  Lead management, opportunity creation with a high conversion rate to sale – is key.  The successful candidate will be energetic, persuasive and well organized and able to demonstrate the ability to sell.  Must be able to define and execute appropriate sales strategies; business development, collaborate with marketing, technical, and operations to maximize sales and profitability.  Must also understand and effectively communicate the company's value prop, technology, process and current partnerships.  Must maintain and grow sales volume, product mix and selling price without unreasonable discounting.  Must maintain sales staff by managing recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. As well as counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results. Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com, and Tableau a big plus.  Must also have a strong desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results by “reading the playing field” and creating preemptive strikes rather than waiting for revenue problems to take root.  Must be able to analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the Lehi VP and Austin marketing teams providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Account, Market Segmentation, Win/Loss, Age and so on.  Must also contribute to the growing sense of team spirit and positive morale budding here in the Lehi culture. 


    • Achieving sales targets for products, solutions and initiatives within specific time frames across multiple market segments
    • Using Salesforce.com as a sales management productivity tool and championing its use with the Sales Reps and SEs
    • Providing timely and accurate business forecasts to sales and executive management
    • Building and effectively leading an inside sales organization through hiring, training, development, and daily goal/objective setting
    • Managing direct and channel partner business transactions
    • Working closely with other cross-functional management teams in marketing, product, and finance operations
    • Executing on appropriate internal and external processes 


    • Experience with various software products, including those designed for DevOps and IT
    • Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate a sales organization to ensure both short and long term goals, objectives and quotas
    • Ability to understand sales numbers and manage to daily sales metrics
    • Minimum of 8 years in a quota carrying sales role with demonstrated achievement
    • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
    • Ability to lead, motivate and execute with a team of inside sales resources
    • Proven ability to recruit, train and scale against aggressive growth targets
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
    • BS/BA preferred
