  • Overview

    We are seeking a Renewal Sales Manager for our Austin office. This role is responsible for building and managing a team of Renewal Sales / Customer Retention resources to retain clients at rate that exceeds industry standards and expectations while ensuring a satisfied customer base to build a sustainable business for future success in the region.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieving renewal sales targets for SolarWinds products, solutions and initiatives within specific time frames across multiple market segments
    • Using NetSuite as a sales management productivity tool and maximizing its use with the Renewal Reps and SE’s
    • Providing timely and accurate business forecasts to Renewal Team and Executive Management
    • Building and effectively leading a Renewal Sales & Customer Retention team through hiring, training, development, and daily goal/objective setting
    • Managing direct and channel partner business transactions
    • Working alongside and developing business relationships with new and existing channel partners in your local region
    • Working closely with and developing relationships with other cross-functional management teams in marketing, product, sales, support, and finance operations
    • Executing on appropriate internal and external processes

    Qualifications

    • Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate a team to ensure both short and long-term goals, objectives and targets are met
    • Ability to understand sales numbers and manage to daily metrics
    • Ability to make daily adjustments to maintain velocity and momentum
    • Ability to understand and communicate business concepts within and outside the company
    • Ability to adapt to changing business issues and requirements

    Experience Required:

    • Minimum of 5 years in a quota carrying role with demonstrated achievement
    • Minimum of 2 years management experience
    • Experience with NetSuite & Salesforce is a plus
    • Ability to lead, motivate and execute with a team
    • Proven ability to recruit, train and scale against aggressive growth targets
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
    • Language skills are a plus – Spanish &/or Portuguese

    Education/Experience:

    • BS/BA preferred.
