  • Overview

    The role of the technical content coordinator is to focus on the development and maintenance of technical content from both internal and external sources.  You will coordinate with management on publication to coincide with company needs based around trade shows, events, and industry topics as they appear.


    • Work with internal content developers to ensure that all requests are handled expediently and to company standards
    • Validate that external content developers provide top-notch deliverables while managing expectations of management and stakeholders
    • Prioritize, organize, and manage invoices for external creators and services
    • Develop/optimize and implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency within marketing department
    • Actively partner with related groups in demand generation, customer marketing, corporate marketing and product marketing to facilitate and manage cross-team efforts to turn insights into practice
    • Create strong recommendations and business context to drive decisions
    • Deliver cross departmental program management and support for special projects including but not limited to webcasts, content editing, THWACKcamp, etc.
    • Facilitate meetings and communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure they are establishing and executing on the right business initiatives
    • Develop management/leadership skills through self-evaluation, mentoring, training courses and feedback


    • 3+ years experience working with documentation teams, ideally in a technical role
    • Content creation experience is desirable
    • Project management experience inside of marketing, specifically within a software company, that includes defining, scheduling, tracking and reporting.
    • Cross-channel and/or marketing campaign analysis
    • Understanding of SEO trends helpful


    • BA/BS in related field or equivalant work experience 
    • The ability to initiate, plan, execute, oversee and complete projects effectively
    • Ability to navigate culture and politics across multiple functions
    • Ability to translate business objectives to marketing goals and measurements
    • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to audience needs
    • Effective presenter, mediator, collaborator - regardless of org structure or hierarchy
    • Microsoft Office user – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
    • PMP certification is a plus
