  • Overview

    This position is for a full stack web developer having extensive experience with SiteCore and familiarity with current web development standards. This developer will contribute to the development and maintenance of high traffic business critical websites, as part of a global team.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides leadership and technical guidance for development teams during all phases of SDLC.
    • Research, evaluate, recommend and implement technical solutions based on industry best practices, current trends and company standards.
    • Cross-functional collaboration with product and marketing teams to ensure that business objectives are met in a timely manner. 
    • Work in close coordination with architects and business stakeholders to translate high level business requirements into technical design.
    • Actively contributes to the establishment and compliance of development processes.
    • Conducts code, design and documentation reviews. Mentors team members on a routine basis.
    •  Produces high quality technical documentation.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience on Sitecore platform in a technical lead role.
    • 5+ years of experience in a lead/architect role developing on enterprise grade WCM, eCommerce, CRM & Analytics platforms (such as SharePoint, Adobe AEM, SiteCore, Hybris, Demandware, ATG, Salesforce, etc.).
    • 10+ years of experience in software development, primarily on the .Net platform (C#, Asp.Net, Asp.Mvc, Web Api, WCF).
    • Extensive experience with presentation layer development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and popular SPA frameworks such as AngularJS.
    • Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
    • Experience with relational database development.
    • Experience with a major version control systems (such as GIT, Perforce, TFS, or SVN).
    • Experience with build management and continuous integration tools (such as Team City, Jenkins, etc.).
    • Experience with Agile project management and issue tracking tools (such as JIRA, Elementtool, etc.).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree (Software Engineering or a related field is preferred).

    Preferences: 

    • Sitecore developer certification.
    • Experience integrating with major web analytics and personalization platforms (such as  Adobe, Optimizely, Google Analytics etc).
    • Experience working with globally distributed development teams.
    • Experience in a client facing position.
