  • Overview

    The Salesforce Administrator will join the corporate Business Applications team, reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, located in Austin. Primary responsibilities will involve administration of our Cloud Business Unit’s Salesforce instance, supporting the global Cloud Sales Teams through systems consolidation and data migration, process development and improvements, standard reporting, issue troubleshooting, and integration monitoring (Marketo, Chargify, among others).  Strong candidates should have experience in leading small to large cross-departmental projects and also have the ability to be adaptable to ongoing organizational changes with a heavy focus on establishing and maintaining scalability in systems and processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the setup of new users and their permissions
    • Assist in the implementation of security practices by monitoring login and user activity, user creation and de-activation, creating permission sets, maintaining sharing settings, auditing field and profile access, and security permissions
    • Customize and configure out of the box functionality features such as, creating objects, fields, formula fields, validation rules, workflows, process builder flows, page layouts, creating apps, report types, sharing rules, permission sets, profiles, roles, etc.
    • Perform and coordinate deployments with the extended Cloud operations team and key stakeholders
    • Log, track and resolve identified system problems
    • Provide insight to both the business and development teams on useful third party applications
    • Assist with third party application integrations as assigned
    • Perform sandbox refreshes and activities related to those refreshes as appropriate
    • Research and stay current on security and maintenance related items by utilizing trust.salesforce.com or other pertinent sites and/or tools
    • Perform data cleanup and data manipulation tasks using data loader and any other third party applications
    • Run appropriate exception reports to maintain data integrity
    • Perform any necessary production support duties and work closely with users on issues and help provide solutions to business needs
    • Partner with customer marketing to ensure programs and outreach are aligned and facilitate program implementation

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related area
    • Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce Administration experience
    • Salesforce Certified (Administrator or Advanced Administrator) would be a plus
    • Must be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication
    • Must possess ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Must be customer focused and possess ability to work closely with cross functional team members
    • Detail orientated, strong attention to detail
    • Must be able to respond to questions and communicate clearly and effectively
    • Must have excellent problem solving and decision making skills
    • Must have ability to track issues and/or tasks required through available tools and work with appropriate users to ensure issue resolution and/or task completion
    • Ability to deploy and promote configuration through each of the Salesforce environments
    • Must possess good change management practices and rigorously test any changes within the Salesforce sandbox before deploying to production
    • Passion for analytics and driving to results. Desire to help drive immediate improvement in business results based on the results of analysis
    • Experience with Lightning, SQL queries, management of middleware, and Tableau are additional pluses
