SolarWinds is seeking a driven, energetic and independent operations professional to focus on the design, execution and operations of an assigned team or process within the SolarWinds MSP Business. This Marketing Operations Manager role excels in project management and can both identify and facilitate change to achieve scalability, predictability, and efficiency across marketing. This is an engaging and hands-on role that requires an individual who is capable of functioning and excelling at both a strategic and tactical position.


  • Develop/optimize and implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency within SolarWinds MSP Business
  • Actively partner with related groups in product marketing, demand generation, customer marketing, and corporate marketing to facilitate and manage cross-team efforts to turn insights into practice
  • Create strong recommendations and business context to drive decisions
  • Program manage cross-departmental teams as a part of the product release cycle, providing tracking, reporting and communication on required deliverables to ensure they are completed on time and within established processes
  • Facilitate meetings and communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure they are establishing and executing on the right business initiatives
  • Deliver cross-departmental program management and support for special projects including but not limited to webcasts, content editing, etc.
  • Develop management/leadership skills through self-evaluation, mentoring, training courses and feedback


  • BA/BS required
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, ideally in an operations roles
  • Demand creation experience is desirable
  • Project management experience inside of marketing, specifically within a software company, that includes defining, scheduling, tracking and reporting.
  • Cross-channel and/or marketing campaign analysis


  • The ability to initiate, plan, execute, oversee and complete projects effectively
  • Ability to navigate culture and politics across multiple functions
  • Ability to translate business objectives to marketing goals and measurements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to audience needs
  • Effective presenter, mediator, collaborator - regardless of org structure or hierarchy
  • Microsoft Office user – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
