    As the Technical Demo PM, it's up to you to become the story-teller for the SolarWinds suite of products.  The online demo systems are some of the most important to our sales motion, used by thousands every day to gain a deeper understanding of the company’s offerings.  As the Demo PM, you are responsible for being ahead of the curve in adopting new SolarWinds products, features, and design patterns.


    • Demonstrate and implements product customization in lab
    • Deep understanding of product offerings, specifically the SolarWinds Orion Suite
    • Maintain and improve lab for constant data collection – usually for several products simultaneously
    • Work closely with Product Management regarding the best way to showcase new product features
    • Collect and process feedback from internal and external resources regarding demo interactions
    • Interact with the Demo Development team to determine resource allocation



    You will be working with a tightly coupled cross-functional team of highly talented and experienced professionals. There is a high focus on execution and organization, but we don't let formal process get in the way of opportunity or experimentation.



    SolarWinds has too many customers to visit each one. To reach our end users we rely on a combination of phone interviews, web meetings, surveys, and community interactions at industry events.



    Rapid organic and inorganic growth means you are never bored or "stuck" with the same product or technology forever. There are always new and interesting problems to solve and new products to build or companies to buy. You will be responsible for defining the right product mix to best capture market opportunity and demand.


    • 5 years of experience with networking & systems monitoring
    • Deep understanding of the network technologies and the application stack
    • Experience with advanced product configurations
    • Experience working with prerelease software and understanding the limitations thereto
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication skills, and ability to interact with customers, partners, and press/analysts with accuracy and professionalism



    • Experience working on/with an enterprise monitoring team
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computing discipline or equivalent experience
    • Experience working in an Agile development environment
    • Substantial experience with Microsoft Windows & SQL Servers
    • Substantial experience with TCP/IP based networks
