  • Overview

    Working closely with the Global Events Manager, in this role the individual will plan and manage a series of tradeshows for a key brand within the SolarWinds MSP’s portfolio, creating creative integrated marketing campaigns to ensure a consistent end to end experience. This role will also function as the linchpin of the events team responsible for smooth running of operational aspects within the team and will enjoy varied remit.




    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Planning and coordination of a series of tradeshows for a key brand within the SolarWinds MSP’s portfolio, including but not limited to, marketing materials and promotional items, procurement of vendor services, presentation coordination, exhibit set-up, pre- and post-event evaluations.
    • Creation of creative integrated marketing campaigns to ensure a consistent end to end event experience
    • Builds and develops relationships with third party vendors to ensure best results.
    • Tracks actual costs against planned budgeted amounts in the execution of events, ensuring budgeted figures are adhered too.
    • Provision of on-site event support for assigned events either in person or via full event briefing and execution packs.
    • Researching potential event venues for key events hosted by SolarWinds MSP, evaluating alternatives and putting forth final complete proposals for sign off
    • Contract review and negotiation
    • Working with outsourced agencies to source and order SolarWinds MSP event merchandise and banners.
    • Manage collateral, booth items and shipping globally, keeping inventory ordered and in stock to ensure effective execution 100% of the time.
    • Input and management of all Global Event Lead Lists, including upload to Marketo
    • Working with Events Specialists to ensure the ROI Spreadsheet is populated and up to date
    • Ensuring all activity worked on adheres to the budget amount outlined in the plan.
    • Possible ad hoc coordination of other global events.


    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Candidates should be qualified to degree level with Marketing/Events as a core discipline
    • Ideal candidate will have experience working in an events based role
    • Experience coordinating a programme of various Tradeshows annually
    • Experience sourcing, negotiating and contracting suitable venues for
    • Experience in using project management systems (asana preferred)
    • Exceptional planning and organizational skills; detail-oriented
    • Proven communication skills working with a wide range of individuals
    • Proven experience successfully tracking and updating running budgets to agreed budgeted figures
    • Experienced user of Software applications such as: Cvent, Crowd Compass, Salesforce.
    • Must be willing and able to travel occasionally
