Overview

SolarWinds is looking for a qualified Contract Coordinator to join our Legal team in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement requests with internal business partners (e.g. marketing, development, information technology, legal)
  • Communicate with external vendors and suppliers to resolve transactional issues
  • Coordinate efforts with the procurement team to plan and prioritize global procurement efforts
  • Create and coordinate processes, provide project management support in order to efficiently facilitate business initiatives, including ability to anticipate future requests based on knowledge of past transactions
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and other ways to increase efficiencies in the business
  • Independently manage workload and communicate deadlines and status of projects to organization and other procurement team members
  • Remain current on industry trends in business and the procurement profession

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of professional business experience, ideally involving the negotiation of vendor relationships
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively and proactively
  • Punctual, organized and detail-oriented

  • Experience working with global teams
  • Ability to research, analyze and synthesize large amounts of data
  • Ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects and work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent judgment, problem resolution, innovation, change management, influencing, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross functionally to resolve issues
  • Ability to manage projects, self-direct, manage multiple priorities and work in a result oriented environment
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations
  • Self-motivated with ability to perform with minimal supervision
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in procurement process management software systems and, in particular, Coupa Procure to Pay
